FUTURE PROFESSIONALS: Gershwins, working in partnership with South Devon College offer Apprenticeships within Gershwins and NVQ courses for external students working in other salons. Competition is fierce to gain one of the few highly sort after training places for students at Gershwins. Creativeness, good communication skills and a passion for hair are some of the key attributes required to be a student at Gershwins, one of the South West's leading training salons. Students have the advantage of learning within a busy professional environment with a strong belief in continual development and commitment to a progressive training programme. SENIOR STYLIST – ARTISTIC DIRECTOR: We are always interested in meeting potential team members who are creative, passionate and enthusiastic hair designers. CUSTOMER CO-ORDINATOR: We are looking for a Customer Co-ordinator to join our customer services team to help achieve maximum utilisation of appointment whilst maintaining a seamless level of service during every guest's visit. The ability to use our computerised appointment system, retail sales, handling cash and credit cards and liasing with all team members is essential, but full training will be provided. In addition, you must have a professional attitude, be computer literate, flexible and have the ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
Min 24 hours per week, 3 out of six days between 8.00am and 8.30pm. Saturdays on a rota. Application forms are available at Reception or apply in writing with CV and references.
